Back Pain and Acid Reflux
People who suffer from acid reflux quite often experience some of the same symptoms. Most of the time this is limited to heartburn, chest pain and a burning sensations inside their body.
It also turns out that you can get back pain from Acid Reflux. This sensation feels like a pain or stabbing sensation that runs up the middle of the back up to their next. As a result there have been many cases where someone has gone to the doctor complaining of a back ache that doesn’t seem to go away only to find out that it is caused by Acid Reflux.
How can you tell if your back pain is caused by Acid Reflux?
1. Does the back pain start or get worse immediately after eating?
2. Is the back pain worse at the same time as you get heartburn?
Treating back pain caused by acid reflux is controlled by treating the acid reflux disease with medications. A doctor will help you out with these. If you do find however that after a few weeks the back pain hasn’t gone, please see the doctor again as it may be the signs of something more serious or misdiagnosed.
